The city's location offers convenient freeway access to the region's employment and shopping centers. Interstate 15 and Interstate 215 run nearby, connecting Canyon Lake to Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Temecula, and Riverside, and the community's main thoroughfares, Railroad Canyon Road and Canyon Lake Drive, feed residents toward those corridors. The result is a distinctly resort-like place to live that remains tied to the broader Inland Empire economy and its commuting patterns.
