Frazier Park is a village and unincorporated community in Kern County, California, situated in the Mountain Communities of the Tejon Pass at an elevation of about 4,640 feet. Its population was 2,592 at the 2020 census. The community lies roughly five miles west of Lebec, along the Interstate 5 corridor that connects Los Angeles to the north and Bakersfield to the south, yet its mountain setting feels a world apart from the valley below. Frazier Park is defined by its location within the Los Padres National Forest and the surrounding mountains. The village is unincorporated, without its own municipal government, and functions as a small mountain town serving the broader Tejon Pass and Cuddy Valley communities. The landscape is dominated by pine forest, high-elevation terrain, and views toward Frazier Mountain and the Lockwood Valley. Recreation is the community's central draw. The trails connect the high country down toward Frazier Park itself. Students attend the El Tejon Unified School District, and the village's small commercial core serves residents and travelers on the I-5 corridor.
